WOOH! We are F-N amped to have a Philly legend at Age of Consent this week! Lucky 7 pioneered the indie queer dance scene in Philadelphia in the 90’s and paved the way for the genre-bending, rule-breaking DJs that followed. Before there was a party called Fast, Cheap & Out of Control there was Fur Salon… Those that were there know that in the course of an evening one could hear Lucky 7 spinning everything from punk to progressive electronic to new wave to whatever else she felt like and somehow it all seemed to make sense.
Word on the street is that Lucky will be serving up pure vinyl classic post-punk gems for our ears and you can bet it will be done with Lucky 7 style!
